Well, let me see. Guyver47 recently "Tagged" me, so I have to tell 20 things about myself. I guess that shouldn't be to hard, 'cept she knows most of the odd stuff about me as it is. Oh well, here goes anyway:
20 Things You May or May Not Know about Huntermun
Number 20: I've got almost no sense of smell. I'd say I have no sense of smell at all 'cept I can pick up some strong scents when they're in close proximity to me. Examples: Passing the Sewage Plant, a Skunk on the Road, or Rotten Food... no effect. Scented Bath Soap, Burning Rubber, or a roommate who hasn't bathed recently enough... I can smell. Otherwise, the sense is completely useless.
Number 19: The Arch of my feet is near-non-existent. Sitting in place, you can see it, and it can be measured and everything... but my feet are such that when I stand up, the arch goes away completely. The real-world aspects of this are that I cannot stand for periods of time without it hurting... and periods of time can start at ten minutes and (at best) eight hours. It just kind of depends. From that point, the pain usually builds up and then starts escalating in pain factor exponentially.
Number 18: I "like" Furry as an idea and mentality. Given the opportunity to play something non-human that resembles an animal in some form or another in a video game or RPG, I will. I suppose I prefer wolfies, but I'm cool with just about any animal.
Number 17: This came about because I have a big interest in the Supernatural, mostly werewolves. I'm not one of those people who goes out looking for them, but I'd be hard pressed to deny the possibility of them existing. Do I think I've ever seen one? No... but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
Number 16: When push comes to shove, though, my big turn-on would most certainly be Transformations. If it weren't for that, I don't think Guyver47 would be as into it as she use to be, nor would I have a DeviantArt Account. I actually opened this account under the name of David Stalton (at least, that's who I posted as). David's a wolftaur, and I was seeing how well I could play him online in art, IM's, and stories, basically pretending to be him instead of myself. The truth is that I did it too well. I don't like to lie... and apparently I'm so good at it, it disturbs me... so I took the leap, and slapped on my own name to this account... and here we are. As a side-note, David's Screen Name in his stories is Neo no1Uknow or Neo Wolftaur (the second of which actually exists as an AIM name)... and so [link] is where you'll find my old art because I went and got that name later, and decided to make it a good place to archive.
Number 15: Hm... OK, I got five no problem. Let's see... I'm a Storyteller for an online Role-Play Group called The Crossover Chronicle. Originally it was called The HOWL Chronicle and run by a girl named Jacklyne Cole. She... could have done a better job, but it wasn't to bad. We played by Werewolf: The Apocalypse (Table Top) rules, and we had fun. At some point, she went off to College and never returned, so I took over. I was MST... Second in Command or whatever, so I took over when January 1st, 2003 came around (four months after she went off to college). Sometime last year I turned everything over from White Wolf rules to my own, mostly Free-Form style, and took our band of Garou and thrust them into a Sliders-like scenario which is The Crossover... and whenever I get it's section done on my website, I'll let you know. For now, we RP in AIM Chat Rooms, and if anyone's interested, send me a Note or an E-Mail.
Number 14: The Website, yup: The Earthsaver Database is my homepage away from home. I keep (or will keep, when I'm done with it) art and information there about myself, my stories, my gaming, and other things. Eventually I'll have up a listing of short Guides for how to do things in certain games like making a good city in Sim City 4, or how to survive playing a character in City of Heroes without a Travel Power. For now, it's just a nice looking little website with tons of AIM Icons and a listing of all my Comics, up to date.
Number 13: I am Webmaster for The Greenville LARP as well as Administrator for their Message Board. The LARP Website is housed on The Earthsaver Database, the Boards are on EZ Board. I need to update it, but the basic information is there, and we use the Boards for Community stuff and all that jazz. I make sure no one gets out of line and no one advertises and crap like that... if you're living in the Upstate South Carolina area (like, within three hours of), then look us up. We're always looking for more players, and you can mail the ST's at GreenvilleLARP@Gmail.com.
Number 12: My car is named Kobayashi Maru. This isn't exactly about me, but... I was on my way out just after starting Number 13 to get Shroud and I some food, and my Rack'n Pinion Steering went out on her. For any of you who missed it, Kobayashi Maru is a Star Trek reference... Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, actually. It's named for the No-Win Scenario that Starfleet uses as a way to test it's recruits to see how they handle a situation that they cannot win in. The car is named that because she's a Lemon... always has been (A Lemon is a car that's bad from the get-go, sold to make money on selling it, but only pieced together enough to run long enough to fool the prospective buyer). During the first month she broke about four different times, including throwing a rod. She's been put back together many a time thus far, and this last time just happens to be after I started a new job. Great.
Number 11: I would rather play the Medic, Healer, or Defender than I would the Grunt, Tanker, or Scrapper. I mean, if you get right down to it, I'll play a Stalker, Scrapper, Brute or whatever just to have easy fun... but I consider keeping the whole team alive with buffs and stuff to be much more difficult than just running and gunning or going in and slashing away. I much prefer having powers (in RPG's and video games) which help out my whole team (when I'm doing Multiplayer) than help myself. If I'm soloing, that's one thing... but if I'm on a team... Hell, no one else is going to do it, so I might as well... and I do it rather well, I think.
Number 10: I prefer Macintosh computers, though I haven't used one in a long time. I remember them being nicer in appearance, easier to use, more friendly, and never ever crashing (unless I was running AOL or a Microsoft product). I still need to snag my old Mac and hook it up so I can get my old stories and pictures off it and such.
Number 9: I'm a Carnivore. I don't eat vegetables unless I'm having the little JuicePlus tablets... Also, I have to have some meat each day or I don't feel like I've eaten anything. I don't like salads or veggies, though I'll eat the occasional fruit... Occasional being about once every three months... it just doesn't come up very often.
Number 8: I'm not a pyromaniac or anything, but I love the smell of a freshly struck match. Since I don't get to smell much of anything, that's a very nice scent.
Number 7: Running out of steam, here. I failed Networking for Technology in Senior Year from the Career Center. It was my first true experience of a teacher not giving a shit about a class. I mean, sure, it's come up before then... but that was the first class in which the teacher not caring prevented me from passing the class. She didn't teach. I didn't learn... I failed. Unfortunately, it wasn't the last time... as I've been through many Credit Hours at Tri-County Tech thus far, and passed less than 40% of my classes... I've been off and on in College since Fall 2000.
Number 6: I just started the training for a job at CallTech. They do Tech Support for Bell South... I hope I can handle it because I already like to help people with their computer problems as it is. You drop me a Note if you ever have a question and I'll do my darndest to answer. Right now, I'm hoping to get hired on and do well because it starts at $8.50 an hour and I need the money. Currently, I need the money to fix my damn car which broken between Numbers 13 and 14.
Number 5: I've been burned by a lot of anime in my life... Some are just better than others... but I have a personal rule (if it's a series) about watching at least five episodes in a row before I've decided if I like it or not. Any less than that is not being fair to the series, I think. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like a lot of Anime make a bad impression if you only watch one or two episodes... and don't forget to watch them in a row... that's very important. Watching five random episodes wont help you judge it... just look at DBZ.
Number 4: Cavities. Or, rather, fillings. During my last visit to the dentist, I had 12 Cavities. Most ever during one visit right there, let me tell you. It took about two months of visits back and forth to carve them out and fill them in. I had previous fillings, but never than many at once... Hell, maybe never that many total. I think I more than doubled the fillings in my head... I've been trying to stop drinking Pepsi all together now, and brush my teeth. Here's hoping that wont happen again.
Number 3: Internet/Google... I Google for everything. I even use Google as a spellcheker or to look up words since it's wired right into a Dictionary site. I use it for my E-Mail, for Maps, for the 3D Earth program (which is like Google Maps, but cooler and more effective), and (of course) searching the web. Google has lots of awesome hidden powers too, like doing math equations for you, or you can type in a person's phone number and it might give you their address (which has helped me find friend's houses in the past). Google is Power... with responsibility on top. Very spiff.
Number 2: I get into characters. When I Role-Play, I don't just make a character sheet or think about my character in terms of stats... I don't Power Game, I don't Clone, and I do my best not to take my In-Character problems Out of Character or Visa Versa. This becomes a problem when a Storyteller has no qualms about killing off your character because you did something that got you killed... and it's also a problem when those who don't get into their characters think about getting back at you IC for OOC reasons. I don't think (as a general rule) that Players should ever really have to fight each other or duel to the death... I think it should almost always be the "Heroes" versus the "Villains"... not PvP.
And the Number One Thing you should Know about Huntermun:
Don't do this to me! 20 Things? You see how I detail things out, how I kind of ramble... if anyone ever Tags me, make it be, like, 5 things... 10 at most... not 20. Do you have any idea how long this took me?... I love to write and all, so it's not like I can stop myself from going on and on. Seriously... this is, like, the one time I do this... if I ever have to do something like this again, I'll probably just reference back to this, heh.
Not that I didn't enjoy doing this, but I'm glad it's done.
See you in the Future,
—Huntermun

Every 500 Hits is a New Winner!
Every 500 Hits, you've got the opportunity to get a free picture out of me. It can be a picture of anything [within reason]. What you do is take a Screen Shot and put it in your Scraps. You send me a link in a Note, and what you'd like as a pic, and I'll hook you up. In addition to this rule is an add-on... someone might not realize that they're a 500 Hit... if this is the case, then you can still do the Scraps » Note for, say, 3,001 if you want. Just realize that if 3,000 sends me a note a bit later, they "Out Bid" you... but since I want people to win, I've made this new rule. This goes out to anyone +50 of my 500 Hit. Past 3,050, no one can win for 3,000... get it? Good. n\_/n
